Anti-Wrinkle Injections

A consultation-led approach to softening expression lines while keeping results refined, balanced, and appropriate to you.

About This Treatment

Anti-wrinkle injections are a prescription-only medicine used to temporarily relax selected facial muscles. They are commonly chosen to soften dynamic lines caused by repeated facial movement, such as frowning, squinting, or raising the eyebrows. At NEWBY Skin Clinic, treatment is always preceded by a full consultation so suitability, expectations, and safety can be properly assessed.

Consultation required. All treatments are subject to assessment, suitability, and informed consent. Outcomes vary between individuals and cannot be guaranteed.

Price from £150 Final price may vary depending on consultation and treatment plan.

Potential Benefits

  • Can soften the appearance of forehead lines, frown lines, and crow’s feet.
  • May help create a smoother, more rested appearance when clinically appropriate.
  • Treatment is quick and usually involves minimal downtime.
  • A subtle plan can be used to support natural-looking outcomes rather than an over-treated look.

Common Treatment Areas

  • Forehead lines
  • Frown lines
  • Crow’s feet
  • Other advanced areas only where clinically appropriate and discussed during consultation

What To Expect

Your appointment includes assessment, consent, photography if appropriate, and treatment planning. Because anti-wrinkle injections are prescription-only, a face-to-face consultation is required before treatment can proceed. The treatment itself is usually completed within 15 to 20 minutes. Results are not immediate and typically develop gradually over several days, with the full effect often seen by around 2 weeks.

Aftercare

  • Avoid rubbing or pressing the treated areas for the rest of the day.
  • Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, and excessive heat for 24 hours unless advised otherwise.
  • Stay upright for the first few hours after treatment.
  • Follow any individual aftercare advice given during your appointment.

As with any injectable treatment, side effects and risks can occur. These will be discussed during consultation, including common temporary effects such as redness, swelling, tenderness, or bruising at the injection site.
