Because anti-wrinkle injections are prescription-only, a face-to-face consultation is required before treatment can proceed. The treatment itself is usually completed within 15 to 20 minutes. Results are not immediate and typically develop gradually over several days, with the full effect often seen by around 2 weeks.
As with any injectable treatment, side effects and risks can occur. These will be discussed during consultation, including common temporary effects such as redness, swelling, tenderness, or bruising at the injection site.
